Abstract
CASIANO INGA, Denys Aldair and CUEVA VEGA, Edinson. Municipal management, levels of perception and reliance: the case for the Chachapoyas district, Amazonas (Perú) 2019. Acad. (Asunción) [online]. 2020, vol.7, n.2, pp.157-165. ISSN 2414-8938. https://doi.org/10.30545/academo.2020.jul-dic.6.
This research determines the level of perception and reliance of the population about the municipal management in Chachapoyas in 2019, as well as the existence of independence between these variables. It’s a qualitative research with a descriptive and correlational level, non-experimental design. The population was determined by people between 18-64 years old. 132 people were selected through a probabilistic sample, who took the survey, which was intended to collect information on levels of perception, in regard to the municipal attributes and provision of services, and the reliance levels recorded for the year of study. Descriptive statistic was used for date analysis, the Chi-Square Test and Fisher’s Exact Test, resulting in a high overall indicator of negative perception of 30,99%, as well as the existence of dependency between the reliance level and the perception levels regarding the provision of services for the current municipal management, thus concluding that the low reliance level in the current municipal management depends on the low levels of perception regarding the provision of services.
