ALCA-GOMEZ, Américo e PEZO-JIMENEZ, Omar. Level of compliance and dissemination of intangible cultural heritage in southern Peru. Rev. cient. cienc. soc. [online]. 2024, vol.6, e601102. Epub 30-Jan-2024. ISSN 2708-0412. https://doi.org/10.53732/rccsociales/e601102.
The objective is to verify compliance and dissemination of intangible cultural heritage in southern Peru. The research assumed a quantitative approach, non-experimental, transversal design and descriptive level. 32 participants were considered for the sample (12 cultural operating officials and 20 performers). It was surveyed using a two-variable, 15-item questionnaire (Level of Compliance with Law 28296 [7] and Dissemination of Intangible Cultural Heritage [8]), for convenience in 2022. In relation to compliance with Law No. 28296, 83.3% consider compliance in the registration of regional music and dance to be regulated, 75% affirm that its diffusion is at a regular level. Regarding the dissemination of intangible cultural heritage, 60% see it at a regular level, and 55% perceive the registration and protection measures at the same level. It is concluded that Law No. 28296 has shown regular effectiveness in the restoration, conservation and transmission of regional music and dance. Although there is progress in cultural preservation, additional work is needed to improve its implementation and expand its impact through efforts that strengthen cultural policies and ensure adequate protection of regional cultural expressions.
