HARO-SARANGO, Alexander. Corporate Governance Structure: an application for transparency and business improvement in Ecuador. Rev. cient. cienc. soc. [online]. 2021, vol.3, n.2, pp.111-121. ISSN 2708-0412. https://doi.org/10.53732/rccsociales/03.02.2021.111.
The business administrative management has endless visions and perspectives in relation to the equal treatment of shareholders, conflict management strategies and information, basic structures, incentives and remuneration to the administration, among others, that affect the transparency and reliability of the management long-term directive. Given the need to provide effective solutions, Corporate Governance becomes important worldwide, as a valuable tool to reach more reliable and efficient markets in the long term. In order to make an informed opinion on the Ecuadorian corporate governance corpus, the basic structures of several countries were analyzed and compared with the corpus prepared in Ecuador on September 1, 2020 issued by the Superintendency of Companies. Finally, according to the information from the evaluated corpus, it is determined that the models that have the greatest characteristics in common with the Ecuadorian are German and Japanese, since they seek to alienate the interests of the interested parties in conjunction with long-term sustainability. In addition, points of deficiencies were detected such as the lack of structuring of a model for entities with low economic framework and lack of support for the participation of women in the board of directors.
