ESPINOLA ARECO, Nelly Laura e RODRIGUEZ ESPINOLA, Hugo Nicasio. Effect of forest fires on seeds emergence of three native tree species in vitro conditions. Investig. Agrar. [online]. 2010, vol.12, n.1, pp.29-34. ISSN 2305-0683.
This work was carried out to evaluate the degree of emergency responses in characters of the seeds of timbo, yvyra pyta and jacaranda after being affected by fire. Were determined percentage of emergence, speed and speed of emergence index, length of radicle and shoot. Treatments consisted of a combination of two factors: fire and forest species in a 2 x 3 factorial system, implemented in vitro conditions, distributed in randomized complete block with four replications. For the fire factor is statistical difference observed for the percentage of emergency without a fire being presented the highest percentage with a value of 43.83%, but for emergency speed, speed of emergence index, length of radicle and plumule length not significant effects were detected. In relation to the different species, the species timbo obtained the best results in emergence percentage, emergence rate index and the radicle length with values of 72,02 %; 5,77 pl.d-1 and 7,10 cm. The yvyra pytã was the best in the emergence rate of 6,85 DM and species jacaranda was higher in the plumule length with a value of 7.,85 cm. As for the combination of factors combined effect was evident for the percentage of emergency and emergency speed index
