The COVID-19 pandemic has generated different challenges that adults have been trying to overcome by using different coping styles in order to obtain peace of mind and satisfaction with their life. The main objective of this study was to analyze the relationship between the use of stress coping styles and life satisfaction in adults. A non-experimental study with a correlational design was used and 306 male and female adults, from Metropolitan Lima and Callao, participated, who answered self-report instruments. The results showed that both study variables are significantly related, and a regression analysis established that coping styles are predictors of life satisfaction. Likewise, there are certain differences in coping styles according to the sex and age of the participants. It is concluded that satisfaction with life is associated with the use of coping styles of the adults of Lima.
