This paper presents a review about the importance of the Internet and emerging technologies in the context of cognitive flexibility theory in educational environments. The impact of internet and much of the emerging technology that makes it possible in education is analyzed in this space, trying to give answers to the questions of the use and purpose that can provide the integration of these tools into the educational context, where new hypermedia opens a new cognitive horizon for education.
