FORNO, Bruno Balmelli et al. “TREATMENT OF LATE SEQUELS OF SCARS IN BURNS USING THE FRACTION OF THE VASCULAR STROMA (FEV) DERIVED FROM THE ADIPOSE TISSUE FROM HUMAN LIPOASPIRATES” - EXPERIMENTAL INVESTIGATION. Rev. Cir. Parag. [online]. 2018, vol.42, n.1, pp.8-13. ISSN 2307-0420. https://doi.org/10.18004/sopaci.2018.abril.8-13.
Objective:
Demonstrate the functional and aesthetic effects of the application of the derived stromal vascular fraction of autologous adipose tissue for the treatment of sequelae of burns.
Materials and methods:
Estudio analytical, experimental essay not controlled with patients who had scars from burns, measurements with scales and optical microscopy for the evaluation of the characteristics of the scar before and 6 months after the procedure.
Results:
There were no local or systemic complications with respect to the procedure and found improvements with respect to the scales of assessment and optical microscopy. What benefit in a remarkable way the evolution of the lesions, both aesthetic and symptomatically and in the functional capacity as well as angiogenesis.
Conclusion:
The remodeling of the scars using fraction derived from adipose tissue of the vascular stroma (SVF) could be used as an alternative in the joint management or isolated from burn scars with no morbidity for the patient.
