Basic information

The Journal Kera yvoty [Utopia, in the Guarani language]: Reflections on the Social Question is a technical-scientific publication of the Faculty of Social Sciences at the National University of Assuncion (FACSO-UNA).

It serves as a forum for reflection on the various manifestations of the social question that have emerged in modern and contemporary Paraguay and are related to the development of the social sciences. In its beginnings, in 2016, Kera yvoty Journal was published on an annual basis, but from 2023, it adopted a semi-annual frequency. As of 2025, the journal adopts the annual continuous publication mode. This system of publishing articles eliminates the wait for the complete compilation of an issue of the journal, accelerates the communication process and makes research available for reading and citation.

Contributions are received on a permanent basis throughout the year through the Editorial Management Platform.
