1. Postulation of the manuscript
All manuscript texts to be sent to the journal ACADEMO Revista de Investigación en Ciencias Sociales y Humanidades, must be written in Spanish without spelling or grammar, respecting the following presentation format. |
2. Manuscript Submission Format
2.1. The text should have an interlinear space of 1,5, margins superior 3 cm, inferior 2 cm, left 3 cm and right 2 cm, sheet size A4, in compatible Microsoft Word format. |
3.Structure of the manuscripts
3.1. Title: clear and concise, No more than 12 words. Only the initial capital letter will be written, it must be in bold, and without using an end point. It should not contain footnotes or asterisks. Must accompany translation into English. 3.2.Author or authors: Present the first and last name in full form of each of the authors, include e-mail from each one of them. 3.3.Full institutional affiliation: Full name of the institution to which the authors belong, the city and the country. 3.4.Author of correspondence: Define the corresponding author and his email. 3.5 Funding source: In the case of a research report with funding, the data of the research project to which the article belongs should be mentioned: project number, year and source of funding. 3.6 Conflicts of interest: Indicate whether or not the authors have potential conflicts of interest to report. 3.7. Date of submission: Include the date of submission of the manuscript. 3.8.Summary: Include an informative and balanced synopsis of what has been done and what has been found with an extension of 150-200 words, in Spanish and English. 3.9. Keywords: Include 3 to 5 keywords in Spanish and English. For the selection of these keywords use the UNESCO Thesaurus. The UNESCO Thesaurus is a controlled and structured list of terms for thematic analysis and the search for documents and publications in the fields of education, culture, natural sciences, social and human sciences, communication and information, /databases.unesco.org/thessp/ 3.10.Development of the article: For the original articles, research results, the structure Introduction, Methodology, Results and Discussion with a maximum extension of 20 pages, may include diagrams, graphics or photographs (11.5 cm wide as minimum and a resolution of 300 dpi) in a graphic format of wide diffusion (jpg, tif, gif, ...). In the Introduction, the following aspects should be clearly and accurately included: • Reasons and scientific basis for research • Intention of the author, thesis or hypothesis of the work • Background information, with relevant and up-to-date references • Establish clearly the specific objectives of the research The Methodology section should include all information about the study design, the context of the study, participants, variables, data sources, measures, bias, sample size, statistical methods. The Results section should contain the analysis of the most relevant data collected, the main findings. The data must be presented only in texts or tables or figures, two more ways of presenting the same data will not be accepted. In discussing, presenting the key points according to the objectives, providing a global and prudent interpretation of the results considering objectives, limitations, multiplicity of analyzes, results of similar studies and other relevant empirical evidence, the possibility of generalizing the results can be discussed and study limitations. The points to consider may be: • Strengths and weaknesses of research (critical). • Open questions and likely solutions and / or applications. • Evaluation and implications of the results or findings of the work. • Hypothesize an explanation of the results. 3.11.All quotations In the text should include their full references at the end of the text. Bibliographical references must be written according to the American Psychological Association (APA) standard. The list of references should include only those cited in the text. 3.12.For other contributions: articles of analysis, review and criticism of books The structure of the body of the manuscript will be defined by the author, however they should maintain the presentation of the preliminary pages as title, authors, abstract, keywords, introduction and bibliographic references. All quotations in the text should include their full references at the end of the text. Bibliographical references must be written according to the American Psychological Association (APA) standard. The list of references should include only those cited in the text. • For other contributions (articles of analysis, review and criticism of books), the structure of the body of the manuscript will be defined by the author, however they should maintain the presentation of the preliminary pages as title, authors, abstract, keywords, introduction and bibliographic references. |
4.Evaluation of the manuscript
All the manuscripts received in the journal will receive a first revision by the editorial coordination, for the verification of the thematic relevance for the journal and the fulfillment of the publication rules. If the manuscript qualifies positively, the editorial coordination will proceed to the screening of the manuscripts by the software to detect plagiarism, beyond the plagiarism control system, editorial coordination will notify the authors that their manuscript has been received and will be submitted to the editorial process or the rejection of the same as the case may be. |
